which leg of flights is better to use my upgrade to first class

which leg of flights is better to use my upgrade to first class?
the outbound which is los angeles (burbank airport) to indianapolis (early in the morning) or the return flight which is new orleans to los angeles? For me the advantage taking the outbound flight 1st class is that the check-in is easier. but the advantage of coming back on 1st class is that i'm tired and the flights are longer fighting the headwinds. What would you choose? actually i chose the outbound flight because i forgot i'm flying with my dad from new orleans to dallas and want to sit with him and the flight to dallas is shorter so overall coming back it would be shorter.

MSY-LAX.....relax with some brewskis. You probably wouldn't feel much like doing that early in the morning (and you can check in online anyway!)
2 :
The return flight.

Probably the return flight. Going First Class and returning Economy always results in an unfavorable comparison on the way back. Also, one perk of First Class is free drinks, which may not apply if you are traveling in the morning. A factor to check is lounge access before the flight. For example, if the airline has a lounge in LA but not at MSY that could be a decider. If you are on Delta there is a Sky Club in New Orleans, but I don't think any of the other airlines have a lounge at MSY.

What do you think of this

What do you think of this?
Obama leaving campaign trail to visit grandmother WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is canceling nearly all his campaign events Thursday and Friday to fly to Hawaii to visit his suddenly gravely ill 85-year-old grandmother, a spokesman said. Robert Gibbs told reporters aboard Obama's plane that Madelyn Payne Dunham, who helped raise Obama, was released from the hospital late last week. But he said her health had deteriorated "to the point where her situation is very serious." Events originally planned for Madison, Wis., and Des Moines, Iowa, on Thursday will be replaced with one in Indianapolis before he makes the long flight to Hawaii. On Friday, Obama's wife, Michelle, will sub for Obama at rallies in Akron and Columbus, in Ohio, said campaign spokeswoman Jen Psaki. Obama was expected to resume campaigning on Saturday, at an undecided location in the West, she said. "Sen. Obama's grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, has always been one of the most important people in his life, along with his mother and his grandfather," Gibbs said. i think it shows what a sensible, caring, down to earth man he is. just what we need.
2 :
It is what it is.
3 :
What I'm suppose to think? Barack Obama is only Human
4 :
Its bad because he CARES?????
5 :
I don't blame him, I would do the same. He needs to be with her right now, he's a good man for doing that. He's not like McCain, who places winning above everything.
6 :
I think that he has an ill Grandma.
7 :
He went to visit his ill grandmother...it is what any normal, loving grandkid would do.
8 :
I hope she gets better soon, so that she can see him elected.
9 :
Sounds like she's in a bad way and he's going home to say goodbye. Not an easy thing to do in the best of times.
10 :
Yea really it shows how caring he is. Unlike McCain the wife-divorcer.
11 :
just another POLITICAL PLOY for the sympathy voters!!
12 :
I think it's a political tactic. Oh, warm fuzzies for Barry who goes to see his sick grandma. Of course she will be in my thoughts and I'm sure she is a great woman, but I just can't help but think that Barry really doesn't care.
13 :
I think his grandmother must be sick and he is going to visit her.
14 :
Yes this is a sad story and if I knew Obama personally I would send him my deepest condolences. I think he made the right choice, even if Obama supporters are upset.
15 :
I think it's always a tragedy too watch someone go, and he's putting family before this campaign. I don't see any reason to read anymore into this. He's loosing someone important to him in his life, just like we all have or will, and he's choosing to be by her side. I would do that same thing.
16 :
This is not even a political question. I am a Republican, and will vote McCain, but I respect him for seeing is ailing Grandmother. non issue.
17 :
I think his grand mother is sick. She is 85, ya know. What ?
18 :
No one said he wasn't human, although i wish he would have rushed off holding hands with McCain to help save my 401k
19 :
My heart goes out to his family as they go through this painful time. It's unfortunate, though, that this personal event will become a political one. Both pro and anti-Obama people will take advantage of this difficult situation. I do not plan to vote for nobama, but I am compassionate enough to pray for his grandmother and the family right now.
20 :
Did she throw her support toward McCain. Is he going to take care of her.
21 :
I hate to think that this may very well be a play on our heart strings to make us sympathetic for him. I Feel guilty For Thinking That - THAT WOULD BE SICK!
22 :
Do the soldiers in Iraq in Afghanistan get to go home when their grandmothers are sick? HECK NO!!! So I say Fuck him
23 :
Obama is a................ASSHOLE MCCAIN PALIN!!!!
24 :
Oh wow, so he is going to see his grand mama. What is so big about that. No big deal.. Every one does this one time or another. Goody goody gum drop! Wow............ Im gonna vote for him now. Please give me a break...
25 :
he is a real human and he is Great man too. and I admire him more Vote Obama/Biden 08 CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVEEEEeeeeeeeee!!!!
26 :
He loves his grandmother and is doing the right thing by visiting her. Are people condemning him for traveling to a foreign Islamic country? heheheheh!
27 :
. What is so big about that? Any one would do that. Is it causing sympathy? I can't feel sorry for a socialist. Boo hoo..

yea im 17 and ive flown to all kinds of places. If you need assistance be sure to either ask workers in the airport or simply read the signs. The airport is not as intimidating as it looks. good luck!
2 :
yes, i first flew alone when i was 11.

If you're applying for a college in Indianapolis, you can usually apply either online or by mail. If you want to check out the campus, then that's perfectly understandable. Anyway, a 17-year-old can fly alone. Some airlines include 17-year-olds in their "unaccompanied minor" services, but they're an additional cost. These services usually do include an assistant to help you. Honestly, airports are pretty easy. The signs are easy to follow. Here's the typical process: 1. First, you need to make sure that you have your boarding pass. There are a variety of ways to get it. Some airlines let you check in online the day before, and you can print out your boarding pass then. You can also check in at the airport, either at a desk or with an electronic kiosk. Bring your ID and confirmation number. 2. When driving into the airport, follow the signs to the terminal for your airline. 3. At the terminal, find the departures monitor and see what gate your flight is located at. 4. Next, you need to pass through security. You are typically allowed one personal bag (like a purse or backpack) and one regular bag (small suitcase) for carry-on. During screening, you must empty your pockets and take off anything metallic. Laptops must be screened separate from everything else. Liquids and gels must be 3.4 ounces or less, and must all be in 1 quart-sized plastic bag. 5. After you pass through security, head to your gate and wait for your flight!

Which NCAA Tournament No. 1 seed has the toughest path to the Final Four

Which NCAA Tournament No. 1 seed has the toughest path to the Final Four?
Which NCAA Tournament No. 1 seed has the toughest path to the Final Four? Kentucky -- John Wall scheduled workouts for NBA teams on the weekend of the Elite Eight Duke -- it's tough to get up for every game when you know your defeat would bring joy to tens of millions across the country Kansas -- first round opponent Lehigh has many players taller than the American average for males of 5-foot-10 Syracuse -- no airlines fly direct from Syracuse to Indianapolis and, worst of all, most flights include a layover in Detroit

at least one wil not make to the sweet 16 .. Syracuse one more will lose in the sweet 16 Kentucky Kansas will squeak to the final 8 but no more Duke will lose in the final 4 when coach k has a strioke watching his team make grad school mistakes and pulls a Bobby knight and choking players
3 :
Kentucky. DeMarcus Cousins & Eric Bledsoe have done the same thing as John Wall, but during the Sweet 16. Patrick Patterson is right behind them.
4 :
LMAO about the Duke statement.....
5 :
Kansas Then Kentucky
6 :
think that kansas will because they are in a group with pitt mich st maryland tenn g town ok st and ohio st this is by far the hardest region because maryland has shown ability to beat ranked teams tennessee has beaten another number 1 in kuntucky and mich st who was in the finalls last year
7 :
just cause lehigh is tall does not mean there good an wall can reschedule no one gives a crap about airline fly and duke always deals with that pressure all the time so give some better reasons for a tougher path. but kansas cause look at there bracket looks really hard.
8 :
E. UConn women. They have to play against bigger men. I don't see a problem with stopping over in Detroit...
