friends over family? or not?
im turning 16 and my mom says i have one of two options i can do for my birthday -go to the mall, six flags and sleep over with three of my closest friends OR -visit my closet cousin in indianapolis(6 hour flight) for 2 days. i havent seen her in like 2 months and shes like a sister to me which one would you chose?

Family first....always. In a couple of years you will be lucky if those kids remember your name. You cousin, will always be your cousin. And if you two are that close I'm sure you will have a great time together. Beside Indy is an awesome city!

i would definitely go see my cousin if she's like a sister to you..& if i haven't seen her in months..or i would have a sleepover if they are like really good friends but its up to you! happy sweet 16 :P

I would go spend time with your cousin. My cousin was 5 hours from me and I missed opportunities to spend time with her and now I regret it. She is such a sweet person and I enjoyed my times with her...I chose my friends every time and I lost touch with most of them. So...turning 16 is a big deal so spend it with your sister/cousin. You can go to the mall anytime and have sleep overs with your friends any weekend. Good luck with your decision and have lots of fun!

That is tough. I would take going to see your cousin because you will get to see your friends at school but it is not everyday that you get to see your cousin!
