Sufficient time for connecting flights in O'Hare?
I will be travelling from Brussels to Indianapolis via Chicago O'Hare in October (on a Monday afternoon). I have about 2 hours to make my connecting flight in O'Hare, will that be enough?

It should be. But to be safe, if you can carry your luggage on-board, rather than check it, you will save about 20-30 minutes in getting your bag. And besides, most connecting flights out of O'Hare are delayed anyway.

That should be plenty of time (as always, assuming flilghts are on-time), but you might should find out the planned gates - arrival and departure - and check them against a web map of the airport. (If you get the chance to travel on the underground walkway, take it; It's a pleasant experience.)

O'Hare is the WORST commercial airport in the country. Flights stack up forever waiting to land, and weather conditions are always causing problems, at any time of the year. Given that your connecting flight will probably be delayed an hour or two, two hours may be enough, but I'd prefer 3-4 hours to be safe.

I would say your chances are good, probably 80% or better. However, if you do miss it, the airline will put you on another flight. In the absolute worst case scenario, it is not too far of a drive from Chicago to Indianapolis - 3-4 hours, depending on traffic.

2 hours is plenty. I've connected there with 30 minutes. Unless there is some giant blizzard or some unforseen weather, you should be fine.

2 hours should be enough. You'll be going from the International Terminal to the Domestic, so that will take up your most time. I imaging the flight from ORD to Indy should last less than an hour as it only takes about 3-4 hours to drive there!

It depends on how long the lines in customs are. I would say 2 hours may be a little tight. If you fly United to Indianapolis, then you would have to go from Terminal 5 to Terminal 1. If American, then you would fly out of Terminal 3. Plus you would have to re-check any luggage and then go through security again.

I Just got back from New Mexico tonight and I had 4 flights. 1 from indianapolis to Denver then from Denver to Alb. Then on the way back from Alb. to Denver and from Denver back to Indianapolis. When I could see the ground from way up in the plan I saw lots of circles that looked like farm fields but Im not sure what they are. I can tell they are very big and vary in color. Does any one know what they are? First off they're not circles, they're more like ovals, duh

It's the result of an irrigation method there are long pipes on wheels which act as sprinklers. One end is fixed and the other is movable creating a circle as the free end travels. Sometimes, you'll see half circles or other portions of a circle.

You are correct that what you saw were farm fields. In places where water is more scarce, fields must often be watered so that crops can grow. AirTran Flight Checkin for Large Group of Passengers?
We are a large group of individuals with two reservations that will be flying from Orlando to Indianapolis on AirTran. Most of us will be checking in bags and paying fees individually. For a flight departing at 9:50am, how early should we arrive to the airport checkin counter? I am also unsure if I should use online checkin as we are paying for bags individually at the airport. Any other advice for our group? We are a group of 10 people. Should we checkin online and just pay for our bags at the airport or should we wait to checkin and do everything at the airport? I'm trying to avoid problems.

im turning 16 and my mom says i have one of two options i can do for my birthday -go to the mall, six flags and sleep over with three of my closest friends OR -visit my closet cousin in indianapolis(6 hour flight) for 2 days. i havent seen her in like 2 months and shes like a sister to me which one would you chose?

i know exactly what you can do ask your mom if your friends can come with you to your trip to Indianapolis maybe it would work out they can just get money for their plane tickets and they can even meet your cousin and you guys can all hang out but don make anyone feel left out and i your friends leave you out and go with your cousin than just say hey she's my family and i think that we should just hangout all together because i really missed her and then you guys could go out for some ice cream or something and it would probably really fun and if they can't come tell your cousin to come to where you live and do the things i said there

I would go spend time with your cousin. My cousin was 5 hours from me and I missed opportunities to spend time with her and now I regret it. She is such a sweet person and I enjoyed my times with her...I chose my friends every time and I lost touch with most of them. So...turning 16 is a big deal so spend it with your sister/cousin. You can go to the mall anytime and have sleep overs with your friends any weekend. Good luck with your decision and have lots of fun!

you can go to whatever site that you plane to fly with... and l live in jacksonville fl and a trip from baltimore is over 200.
