What can you take with you on Air Tran flights

What can you take with you on Air Tran flights?
We are flying out of Midway airport on Sunday. We are flying on Air Trans. We have never flown with them before. How soon should we get there because they have paper tickets and we don't have our seats assigned yet? We are traveling with 6 people. Our flight is at 7:30 in the morning. I think we are planning to get there at about 5:00. Also, we are going on our 4th cruise, and it is to the Caribbean. So, we need to take sunscreen. I like the kind that comes in an aerosol bottle, but I don't think you're allowed to take that with you. Can you? If not, it is fine because we have a bunch of other sun screen. Thanks. Also, how is Air Tran? Do you like it. Our friend who travels a lot says it is a good air line to take out of Midway. Also, where is Midway. We have heard many different things about where it is. We live in Northeast Indiana, so usually we fly out of Fort Wayne or Indianapolis. We have never flown out of Chicago before. It was the cheapest one we could find though.

You should reach the airport 2hr before the flight time in case of domestic travel, and 3 hrs for internagtional flights. You cannot take liquids more than about 100ml in your cabin bags. So all you can take with you on the plane in the handbags is sample size items (you can get them at Walgreens or Walmart or many other general stores) As for sunscreen since you need it only when you reach there, you can pack them in your checked in baggage. There is not limit on what and how much liquids you put in the checked in bag. Be careful though that the containers are well sealed or else everything else in the bags may be ruined due to the way they handle baggage! :) Two tips from me :) 1- If you can buy something at th destination (for example sunscreen!) don't pack it with you ! 2 - And don't take anything in your handbaggage that you will not need during your time in flight. If you pack lite it will save you from a lot of stress during checkins and security.

1. Getting there at around 5:00 for a 7:30 flight should give you plenty of time. 2. This is a list that will tell you if an item is allowed or prohibited in your carry-on and/or checked luggage: http://www.tsa.dhs.gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/permitted-prohibited-items.shtm#2 3. If you plan to take any liquids with you in your carry-on luggage, please see this link: http://www.tsa.dhs.gov/311/index.shtm Again, that is only for carry-on luggage. Your checked luggage has no restrictions on liquids. 4. AirTran is currently the highest ranked airline for customer service; I've flown with them before and all of my flights were on time, the baggage was on time - I had no problems with them. 5. Here's a map and directions to Midway: http://www.chicago-mdw.com/maps.html Scroll down past the map of the airport itself - there will be a map of the area around Midway and driving directions under that. 6. You can take anything with you that you could possibly need, excluding things that are prohibited by TSA (see link above - #2) I hope that helps.

WHAT SHOULD I DO? HELP IM IN A PICKLE

WHAT SHOULD I DO? HELP IM IN A PICKLE?
I live in Indianapolis, Indiana. Should I drive to New York City (10 hour drive) or Fly to New York City (148$ roundtrip flight)

Fly to NY. Driving will only burn up your gas bill, and possibly call for a hotel trip on the way back. With flying, you get your accommodations handed to you, and you save money. Hope I helped!
2 :
Fly, Driving in NY is a nightmare and there is no place to park.
3 :
If you are coming alone and staying in Manhattan it will be cheaper to fly as you will not have parking to consider. You probably would not use your car here anyway.
4 :
Fly. You DO NOT want to have to drive in NYC [sure, you live in a city and are used to city driving, but NYC is a whole 'nother animal!!]. And parking will cost you a fortune, if you can find it. You could easily spend $148 on parking for several days.

Fly...Its cheaper and quicker..I did a Chicago to New York drive it was a horrible 15 hours.

What Should I Bring On An Airplane

What Should I Bring On An Airplane?
So I'm headed out to Indiana for about five days, by airplane, from Eugene, Oregon, to Salt Lake City, and then to Indianapolis. All together, it's a six hour flight including overlays. That's no problem for me -- I love airplanes, airports, and all that jazz. But what to bring, what to bring. I'm your average fifteen year old girl, only I don't play a lot of DS games, and I watch anime, you see. I have a laptop and a mp3 that's almost full. I also have a very limited space of a small suitcase that can MAYBE hold enough stuff to entertian me. We're talking seriously small suitcase. My mom's got the other one for our clothing but ti's not much bigger. Help? I need to know what would be good to pack. We're headed to a funeral and then we're going swimming, so I know I have to pack a bathing suit and my formal outfit. However, I don't know how much clothing to bring. We have access to a washer and dryer at my aunt's. So, along with that main question; What should I bring? Fifteen year old girl traveling with her mom.

Pack a book. I would recommend Uglies if you haven't read it yet.
2 :
Well when I went on an airplane bring gum, ur iPod if u have one, umm a book, and I brought like stuff to color on like paper, ur fone, umm..... Just bring a backpack full of ur fav stuff and keep it with you were u sit. Hope you have fun :D
3 :
Bring an Ipod, a book, a PSP or DS, gum, water, whatever you might need to entertain yourself or just relax and enjoy the flight
4 :
Wear your bulkiest clothes to save space in your luggage. A magazine, puzzle book, something to read, a few snacks, etc. You can put some dry snacks, gum, mints, packets of Kleenex and similar items in your coat or jacket pocket to save space in your carry-on. Most airlines allow you to carry a book, a purse or similar size item such as a laptop and bag, in addition to your carry on bag. For five days with access to a washer/dryer you shouldn't need but one or two outfits and pjs besides your swimsuit.

Flights -- cheaper to buy now or later

Flights -- cheaper to buy now or later?
I'm going to buy airline tickets from Indianapolis to Orlando in late March (Spring Break time), and currently the cheapest I can find is $220/person with taxes & fees. Is this likely to get more or less expensive in the coming months? Should I buy now, or wait for lower fares?

Spring break tickets aren't gonna go down. Many other times you can wait and get last minute deals but duringholidayss and things it isn'tt gonna happen.
2 :
I'd buy your ticket now. I booked a flight for early next year, I was watching ticket prices, they we're going down but now they're slowly starting to rise again. They might go back down but I wouldn't risk it and wait.
3 :
I think for spring break, that ticket price is reasonable. My opinion is to purchase the ticket.
4 :
Its hard to say. Depending on the airline, it might go up or down. Since its Spring Break though, the prices will most likely rise due to high demand on tickets. I would buy the ticket now. Its better than waiting and the tickets going up, or being sold out. Plus, that's not such a bad price. The last minute deals are usually to popular destinations like Las Vegas, Miami, New York, etc. Hope this helped! Have fun on your trip.
5 :
That's actually pretty cheap... Realistically, you shouldn't expect it to go down that much, so you'd basically be risking it by not buying now. However, do some more comparing before you buy them. Your best bet is BookMe. You can compare ALL the reputable travel sites, and save money. Good luck!
