Do you plan to stay in a $50 a night or a $500 a night hotel, where are you flying from, (that makes a difference in price of tickets), do you want a cheap small car or a full size car or SUV? I would suggest you do your own math, we can't and I'm not going to do it for you without being paid.

the best thing is easy for u to everything one thing is www.expedia .com they tell u everything what the total but rember go to hotel with breakfest incude the hotel the expdia have airline ,hotel, car the 200 to 300 is ok the best is 500 to 600 for one week to spendy

under 1000 will get you a car and a nice hotel and your plane trip have a blast

Without knowing where you are flying from it is impossible to estimate a price on airline tickets. Obviously, a price for two tickets from Boston, Massachusetts would be cheaper than the same destination flying from Bombay, India. Also, I would suspect that if your "next couple of months" takes place within the holiday season, the prices for everything would be higher than if they were outside of the holidays. Just throwing the dates of 11/1-11/5 into Travelocity, I get a lodging range of $37-$307 per night and a car rental range of $45-$101 per day. Adding in your spending money range (which may be low if it includes meals for both of you), I get somewhere between $446 and $1524 for a 3-4 night stay without counting round trip air fare and taxes for everything. Frankly, you need to research this trip with your own preferences defining your choices and do the math yourself based on those selections.

When should I book my flight to Las Vegas

When should I book my flight to Las Vegas?
I'm going to Vegas, flying out from Indianapolis Sunday August 2, and coming back to Indianapolis Thursday August 6. Hotel and shows are all booked so I'm locked into above dates. Airline prices seems much higher with bad times on arrivals and departures right now, compared to last October when I went to Las Vegas. Should I book the flight now or wait and keep checking daily for better rates?

usually the soon your book the better the deal. did you try several sites to see if you can get a cheaper price, that is what I do.

I dont know, but i would have booked my flight first. I'm going to Vegas the end of September and my flight on Jet blue has been booked for over a month. There are still a few seats left. I hear if you wait till the last minute you can get some really great deals but why chance that since you went and booked everything else. I would book a flight now
3 :
you should try cheapair.com, im leaving for vegas tomorrow. thats where i got mine, i bought it like a week ago and it was only $90 one way. so try that site..
4 :
The best time to book a flight is 3 weeks before you want to go on a tuesday

A lot of airlines are cutting the numbers of flights so you had better book now or you may not get a flight at all. I booked my trip which is not until Aug. 31. I just checked and the flight is now sold out. Airlines are trying not to fly half empty planes. So the possiblity of last minute deals is pretty remote. The earlier the better. *

Unlike what several people said here, checking several sites will only get you the same prices. You will find one that looks a lot cheaper than the others then when you go to book it the fees of that site will actually take the price up to or over the others. Look at sites that give the fees up front in the prices. There is no flexibility in airfare anymore. What price the airline posts is the same no matter where you book. Best to do direct with the airline site to prevent hidden fees at the end. I would wait another month or two before booking. You can start looking but they usually don't drop ticket prices until 90 days before the flights. Then again some run super specials for a short period and you have to be prepared to book right then and there.

I am flying out of Indianapolis on September 6, but I already booked my airfare. I found a round trip ticket on Northwest for just over $200. What kind of times are you looking at? Southwest $279.20 this is the cost for all flights on those dates. Airtran is too expensive. Midwest Airlines $297.40 leaving 3:45pm returning 11:59pm Northwest from $229.19 with tax http://res.nwa.com/search/flight.nw?_flowExecutionKey=_cCBF29ADD-5AC7-AD89-F912-FCA33A5E0CF1_k8369BEE4-95C8-2199-DAC6-827727CFC2E7&AnalyticsResponse=com.orbitz.spring.interceptor.analytics.AnalyticsResponse%40194213a I hope this helps! Northwest seems to dominate the cheapest prices for your dates. With only 2 months until your trip, it is better to book the first flight that meets your price range. You never know when flight prices are going to go up, especially with the cost of fuel going up. It's also a good rule of thumb to book your airfare between 3 months and 1 month before your trip.

go on expedia.com for great fares and all the price choices

A couple of months before you go. Or a month before will help. I was looking at flights to go to Cali around mid-Feb just today. and the total including taxes and fees was about $243. And then just for the heck of it I searched mid marched and it almost totaled to $350. So yeah. Sometimes buying ahead isn't always the cheapest. And if you can.... go directly to the airline website and book it. The first time I tried cheapoair.com I was like OMFG it's so cheap. And I clicked on "book" just to see how much the total was and the taxes and fees was like $85 itself added to the total and it cost even more than the tickets that the airlines sold. I was so mad. I suggest expedia.com too.

by when is the best time, do you mean how long before you fly, should you book your flight? if that's the case , it totally depends on a lot of things, how busy the route is, how flexible you are with your travel days, what the price of fuel is ( jet fuel is going up so a lot of airlines are adding surcharges and raising rates because of it). there are some sites like yapta.com and fareminder.com, that track prices for you and let you know if they go up and down, i would say keep watching them and if you see something that looks like a great deal, buy it then. worst case if prices continue to go down , most airlines will credit you the difference if its more than a certain amount, usually $50. and even if it goes down a little after you buy it, at least you know you got a seat on the flight you wanted and didn't have to sweat not getting a ticket.
4 :
One thing to keep in mind is to purchase tickets for travel on weekdays. For some reason, they like to charge more for flights on weekends.
5 :
can try farecompare.com and check the "research cheapest airfares" box and daily fares will be displayed from which you can select the better one.
6 :
Hmmm.... what do you mean by "the best times"? The best time of day is early morning because that's when cheap seats are released back into the system after a ticketing deadline has passed.
